Mukta Das - Bombay style Tabla

This tabla is made especially for us by Mukta Das, a much respected Kolkata maker. Kolkata style heads are normally thinner than their Bombay conterparts. This tabla had a slighlty thicker than normal (for a Kolkata drum) head and is also about an inch taller than the normal Kokata drum.
